We had a fantastic BBQ with the family at our house. The adults stayed up on the deck chatting and the kids were down below playing in the sandbox and on the swingset. We need to do that again soon!

Emily's June Horse Show

I love horse show days! It is the one day you get rewarded for all of your hard work. Emily is really becoming a good little rider. I love it when she is all dressed up in her chaps and western shirt and ready to ride. The show went so fast and we parked in the shade again so we didnt have any trouble with her over heating. She got blue in all of her judged events.

Spencers June Horse Show

Hooray it is horse show time again! We had another really great day. I kind of messed up putting Spencer on his horse too soon for Western Pleasure, we walked around for a good 40 minutes before the class started and by the time they started judging he was very hot and started wilting. He had a really hard time in that class. The rest of the day went off without a hitch. My boy is getting so big! Daddy came over and helped out the whole time and made things so much more easy and fun.

My Mom's New Doooo

My mom went to our hair dresser and got a new hair cut! SOOOOO exciting! She has had the same hair style ALL my life! It was a total transformation in my eyes! LOVE IT! She even had highlights put in. Way to go mom!

Cousin Emily's Bridal Shower

I provided the games for my cousin Emily Groo's bridal shower. I was so happy to see Joann (Grandma Jo as my kids call her) because it has been a long time!
It was a really fun shower and her fiance Mike is AWESOME! Just to show what a small world it is... Emily was set up on a blind date with Mike and as they were driving into his neighborhood to pick him up she said... hey my Aunt Terrie lives in this neighborhood. They pulled into Mike's driveway and low and behold... Kenny's parents house is right next door! NO WAY! Kenny even babysat them when they were growing up! So so crazy! The highlight of the shower for me was when Emily openend my gift she got all excited about the gloveables I gave her. She said that Mike would be really happy that she got them because he was cleaning the toilet the other day in their apartment and was complaining about not having gloves! When he arrived at the shower Emily showed him the gloves and he put them on and did a little singing Ahhhh hAaaaAaaa... It was so funny! I love those too!

Our Day in San Diego

We were able to head to San Diego for the day for the first time. We couldnt have asked for more perfect weather! It was just me and the kids. We went to the beach first and saw the seals in La Jolla Cove. We gathered shells on the beach and played in the water a little bit. We then went over to Balboa Park and found this awesome vintage carosel! It is adjacent to the San Diego Zoo. I wish we could have popped into the zoo for a few hours. We had lunch at Mc Donalds and had a really perfect day!

Spencer asked me if he could go outside and play, I told him that he needed to put a coat on and shoes because it was chilly outside. This is what he came up with I almost died laughing! I just had to take a few pictures.

Emily's Funny Side

My dad was working nights so we decided to go to the movies with my mom. Kenny went to see Iron Man and Me and the kids and my mom went to see Maid of Honor. Spencer fell asleep pretty quick and ended up in the crazyiest position. My mom and I were wondering how in the world he stayed upright!



Our movie got out before Kenny's did so Emily and I had some fun with the movie posters around the theater.

Fun at Thanksgiving Point

So the camera is finally back from Cannon repaired and in working order... time to take some pictures again! It has been about a month without it... what a bummer!
We had a really fun Saturday. We went to Thanksgiving point with the kids. Spencer picked the Farm Animals and Emily wanted to go to the Dinosaur Museum so we split up. I had the camera so we dont have pictures of Em and Daddy.

When we were on our way home Andy called to see how much it was to get in the park and I told her about my 50% off since I was a member. Kenny didnt mind so I dropped him and Emily home and me and Ty went back and hit the farm for a second time with Andy and her family. It was a blast!!!
