Our Basement Rooms are Finished

Sooooo excited!!! We now have a finished office, bathroom and excercise/playroom downstairs! Myah was very eager to check out the new living spaces! She walked through every room and plopped down and rolled onto her back.
That will be the last time she is in there. We are going to keep it a cat free zone downstairs.
I am so excited to get the office moved downstairs so that Emily and Ty can FINALLY have their own rooms. It has been long overdue. We also were going to make a playroom for the kids under the stairs. That is something we have always loved when you tour the model homes but our kids are getting so big and they now have a whole room to play in. I am sure we will be able to utilize it as storage with no problem. I love how the brown walls turned out. I was worried that they would be too dark but I am so happy with the result and wish that I had that same carpet throughout my entire house!

Eye Spy...with Em and Ty

I was trying to get some things done around the house when I came into the living room and found Em and Ty in the same chair looking at an Eye Spy book....it was so cute I had to take a few pictures....PLUS I have proof of them getting along.

I Love To See The Temple

After my fun Ski Adventure at Brighton I was driving home and took the back roads and saw the Draper Temple up on the hill all lit up! It was so beautiful I drove over and took a few pictures and ejoyed the peacefullness that the Temple Grounds bring.

Emily's District Reflections

Emily chose to do a dance for the reflections contest this year.  She made it up all on her own and won first place!  It was so exciting!  That meant that she moved on to the District Competition.  We went to the awards night to see what would happen.  She didn't end up winning again but it was sure a fun night for us as a family.  We went to Winger's to celebrate and I think that all of the excitement just wore poor Emmies down and she ended up falling asleep on the bench before we were even done eating.
