Cruise to Mexico

Ok... so we set out on a fabulous vacation! We flew into the Long Beach airport and rented a 15 passenger van to carry... Kenny, Hilerie, Emily, Spencer, My mom Diane, her mom Shirley, Aunt Beverly and her daughter Becky to San Diego to leave for our cruise!!! Well I didnt do very good with the picture taking on the way to San Diego and then when we got on the ship I took one picture of the kids and then proceeded to drop the camera and BREAK IT! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Say it ain't so!!!!! So we had to buy disposable cameras for our fabulous vacation... so sad!


We had a great time despite our lack of a good camera, we ate too much, laughed every day and soaked up the Mexican sun! We were on the Princess Cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We stopped in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta. Kenny and I got to scuba dive in Puerto Vallarta. It was amazing! I am ready to do it again!!!

My Stint as a Wedding Photographer!

OK... this was a huge shocker but has been a secret dream of mine! I took the pictures at my cousin Billy's wedding reception quite a few years ago and thought that was so fun! Christy's boyfriend Shane... well his brother Bryan asked me to be their wedding photographer! I had so much fun! My brother Brian let me borrow his amazing digital camera and I took about 750 pictures! It was a really fun night! Here are a few of my favorites.

The Easter Bunny Came!

We had a really fun day, we went to bed late so it was a little bit of a struggle getting the kids up. The Easter Bunny was smarter this year and instead of hiding the kids treats outside where the SUN MELTED their big chocolate bunnies into a large brown pool! He put their loot in the living room. We had an Easter Egg hunt at the Coleman's the day before and had another one at the Colby's on Easter.

Tea Party

I watched Steph's kids Ali and Zach for the day and Ali brought her tea set and some treats. The kids had such a great time and Ali was the perfect hostess!

Practicing Scuba in the Pool...

We headed back to Scuba Utah where Kenny and I certified for scuba diving to brush up on our skills before our cruise to Mexico. We bought an underwater case for our camera and had a fun time in the pool.




I was a little nervous but was really excited when it all came back to me and was actually quite easy even though it had been several months since we had been in the pool. We werent able to Scuba on our cruise last October because of Kennys emergency apendectomy.

We Bought My Mom a Dishwasher!

I have been dreaming for about 20 years now to get my mom a dishwasher! We had one for a short while when I was growing up but it started leaking on the floor so it was disconnected. When we remodeled her kitchen she had a place put in next to the sink for the dishwasher. It has been a hole in the cabinet to store the garbage can for over a year! Finally today RC Willey came out and installed the dishwasher I bought for her. When she got home she noticed right off that it was there. I was waiting down the street so I could come when she got home. Andy helped me by calling me to tell me when they got there. It was a really happy day for me!

Soccer Class

Ok, so I am going to play catch up just like everything else in my life!
I wanted to post a few pictures of the soccer class that my kids were in.

Spencer had so much fun! He wanted to be first in line for everything and did a pretty great job listening. It was really fun to watch him in action! He would get all hot and sweaty and I had to have a water bottle on hand to keep the little guy hydrated! lol!



Emily wasnt too big of a fan of the class until the teacher spun the hoola hoops across the room and they had to run and get it and return it to the other teachers neck. I spent more time getting her off the mats....
