A little airport fix

Kathi and Joshie came through town so I was able to go out to the airport and visit and play with Josh. It has been way too long! But since Kath does such a great job at her blog I feel like I am watching him grow up in person. It was so exciting to hear him jabber and tell us what was what! I brought some snacks and toys and Josh is so civilized that he made a plate out of the frisby. Very impressive!

Yachats, Oregon... A little slice of Heaven

April 24th thru April 27th 2008

This has got to be one of the most amazing trips that I have ever taken!!! I flew into Portland, Oregon, Kathi came and picked me up and then we were off to Yahats, Oregon for a scrapbooking Retreat! We stopped in Newport and had a delicious dinner. The two pictures of us on the Pier were right after dinner. We stayed in a three story beach house and were totally pampered by Maggie and Kyla the retreat hostesses. We Scrapbooked our heads off, laughed, ate, enjoyed the ocean and mostly enjoyed each others company! We already booked to come back in October because it was so much fun!!! This was the best way to rejuvinate myself to get back into life when I got home. My kids seemed bigger when I got back... is that possible in just 4 days hahaha. I am ready to go back tomorrow though. It really was an amazing trip!

Emily's EEG

April 8, 2008
It had been a year since Emily had her last EEG so it was time for a repeat. We kept her up until the very early AM so that she would fall asleep for the half hour that they record her brain waves. She did a great job and fell asleep almost on command. It was tough getting her to wake up. After we woke her up she had to blow on a pinwheel for three full minutes which would have been hard for me to do while half asleep. We ate lunch in the cafeteria afterwards. What a trooper!

Disney With Best Friends

CrAzY hAt TiMe!!!

It was such a perfect vacation!!!! Spencer and Em had brother sister fights but it was so minimal because they had their best friends Kaylee and Danielle to play with. The weather was beautiful and we had a blast!!! The only thing that could have made it better would have been for Kenny to be there.

Have I Told You I Love JetBlue?!?!?

We were able to go to California to meet up with Greg and Kim on their family vacation to Disneyland!!! The flight loads were perfect for standby travel both ways and we had an amazing time. It was so nice to get out of the snow and cold and be warm for once. I was so totally thrilled when we got on the plane to fly to Long Beach, the pilot asked my kids if they would like to come in and see the cockpit! WOWOW! They didnt even know I worked for JetBlue at the time and let Em and Ty sit in their seats and even posed for pictures. I was just overjoyed! That is something they will never forget.

Dog "Jackets"

Last October I bought a little horse blanket for our tiny shetland Fanny down at my dads house. Spencer was talking to my dad and asked him why the other horses dont get jackets and why the dogs dont get a winter jackets. We thought that was pretty funny. Well at my dads idea I found these dog "jackets" and Spencer was so excited to see them with a winter coat!
