Ty Putting On A Brave Face At The Dentist

My little Ty has THE WORST GAG REFLEX in the world!!! He has had it since he started eating solid foods. He has a really hard time with odd textures in his mouth and brushing his teeth is a complete adventure on its own. He receintly had to have some cavities filled where they had to put him under anesthesia to do it. We were back at the dentist for a cleaning and he was so brave and let them do the cleaning while awake. They werent able to take xrays because the bite wings make him gag but he is getting better! I think he made it through the cleaning only throwing up twice. Good job Ty! It will get better buddy!!!

Sledding

I LOVE LOVE LOVE family outings!
We went over to the Monach Meadows
park and just had such a great time
sledding and playing in the snow.
I am sure glad that the kids are SO
full of energy because it really takes a
lot out of you to go down and walk back
up that huge hill again and again!
I love my Family!
I love my Kids!
They are most precious to me! They
have such fun personalities....I really
enjoy being in their company!
Em and Ty you ROCK!

Ty totally rockin' that giant fur hat!

Lunch with Heather and Olivia

I love my friend Heather! She is one of the most amazing people I know! She is always such a lady, gives such great advice, spunky, fun and creative. I feel very blessed to have her as my friend and learn so much from her.
I love you Heather! Thanks for being my friend! You truly are one of a kind!!!
Posted by PicasaWe met at IKEA and had such a ball walking around and getting great ideas from all of the displays....then enjoyed lunch together in the cafeteria.  Olivia is getting so big!  I brought some crayons and a coloring book for her and she happily colored while her cute mom and I were able to talk.  What a fun lunch date!  Can't wait to do it again :)

Emily's 2nd Grade Valentines Day Party

Kenny and I helped out with the sugar cookie station this year for the Class Valentines Day Party. You would NOT believe how much frosting and sprinkles some of the kids put on their cookies! YUCK! But I didn't have to eat it so we both win :)
Mrs. Ostler is the most amazing wonderful teacher and it is always so much fun helping in her class.
Happy Valentines Day
MUUUUWAAAAAHHHH!!!!

Say Hi To Granny and Curly For Me

Today was a very hard sad day. Our beloved dog Hanna left us to go to heaven. She has been a part of our family for so long. She started out as the neighbors dog and would just come and lay on our back porch step. I would always take her back home becasue she wasn't our dog. When the neighbors were going through their divorce they said that we would either keep her or they were going to take her to the pound. Of course we kept her. I am so grateful that we did. She has been the most wonderful dog and companion over these many years.
She wasnt able to get up so Christy and I took her over to the self dog wash and cleaned her up so that she could pass with dignity. Then we went over to the vet and they gave her a shot. It was one of the hardest things I have done. I was so appreciative to the vet who explained exactly how everything would happen. That made it a little bit easier to get through it because I knew what was going on. The vet told us that we could stay in the room with her as long as we needed to. Christy and I sat in the room with Hannah after she had passed away for a long long time just crying, talking, remembering all of the good memories we have had with her. I am sure glad that our pets will be with us up in heaven because I am sure going to miss her.
