Easter 2009

We started the day out with the Herriman Easter Egg Hunt...I only have pictures of Ty because I had the camera and Kenny had the video camera with Emily at her age group station.  It always surprises me how quickly the lawn is cleared out!  I swear it only takes 1 minute!!!  Ty is a great egg hunter.  He is really good and the grab and go.  Emily is more choosey and usually only ends up with a few things in her basket.  Which isnt a bad thing since we have an Easter Egg hunt at both of our parents houses every year :)

Sweet Che'  Our family got her when I was on my mission in
Wisconsin in 1995!  She was such a cute chubby puppy
and by the time I got home she was a full grown dog

I love Ty's Bed head!

Sweet Grandma Kalawaia
She is one of my most favorite memories from Easter Time.
She would always sing "My Easter Bonnet"
And was so excited to bring items for the hunt

Brothers and sisters standing around shooting the breeze

THE EASTER BUNNY DID COME!!!

Love that face!

Look at Emily's cute smile!  She is missing so many teeth
I think she looks so sweet and adorable

Ty Is My Helper!

I love Ty's CAN-DO attitude. He is just a little guy but he is such a BIG Help to me. I was trying to clean up the house and the living room had stuff all over the floor....Ty said that he would clean it up for me. If you notice in one of the pictures the back corner is piled with stuff...my cute little helper put everything in the corner... then he weilded that vaccume that is as big as him and ran it all over the living room

Had to throw in a picture I took of Kenny and the kids....Myah of course being counted as one of the kids!!!

Gateway Childrens Museum with the Colby Clan

We went on an outing with Grandma and Grandpa Colby, Steph and her kids and Andy and her kids. It was great to go somewhere with my dad who usually doesnt attend things like this. I loved watching him play with the kids while they were doing all of the hands on activities. My kid's favorite was the giant water table. I think they could have spent all day just doing that. Andy and I had fun pretending to be news anchors. That would not be a good job for me. I got the kids a little prize from the gift shop. Emily of course picked eggs. If there is ever a choice to get an egg of any sort that is what she goes for.

Cruise Day 2

Our Second day was also a sea day. We decided that we would try out the fancy resturant on the ship... something we haven't done before. It was nice to have a more private quiet dinner but I dont think that I will have to do that again. Not worth the extra money but I am glad that we tried it.

The kids have been busy at the kids club for the past two days. They have already colored and done a bunch of different crafts and activities. It is like sending them to day camp the entire time they are on the ship. Very Cool! Good Job Kids!

Caribbean Cruise With The Hunters

DAY ONE
AT SEA

We are the luckiest people on the planet.....SOME HOW....we talked Paul and Kara Hunter  to go on a cruise/Disney World trip with us!

I gotta tell ya....if you want to have a good time...take Paul and Kara with you!  They are such incredible friends!  They played with our kids like they were their own.  They are so good natured and funny.  Friendly, fabulous, great to be around.... Am I gushing....well they deserve it!  We truly had the most amazing time!  I took 1613 pictures on our trip....that is just rediculous to try and blog but I want to catch the main points of our trip day by day.

When we got on the ship we decided to try out the miniture golf.  We haven't done that on any of our other cruises.  It was really fun.  The wind was blowing like crazy!  But the excitement of being out to sea and the call of the Caribbean made for  a very festive atmosphere!

It was formal night that first night and the kids decided that they would rather eat at the kids club instead of having to dress up and behave at a fancy dinner.  Paul and Kara and Kenny and I enjoyed a quiet dinner together with 600 of our fellow passengers lol!

We had to take turns taking pictures and decided that we both needed a kissing picture :)

We ended the night with a movie under the stars. It was windy but with the deck blankets it was a great time. I think that being able to watch a movie at night on the deck is a fabulous luxury. Totally love that perk of being on a big ship with the movie screen.  Can you see little Ty's head there. He was all snuggled in with Kenny when we watched the movie. They pass out drinks and free popcorn. It was a great way to end a very fun day.
We had a great day walking around the ship...eating at the buffet and getting comfortable in our rooms.
Let the vacation begin!!!!

Is It A Dream? Nope..It's Real!

I wake up.... sleep still in my eyes...time to get the kids up for school, time to make breakfast, time to start the day. The cat wants to go outside. I open the door to let her out onto the deck and something catches my eye.... It must be a dream, I must be imagining it, I must still have sleep in my eyes but I thought I just saw a horse in my backyard. WAIT! I shake my head.... the sleep has left me....I am wide awake...fully aware....
Cowgirl is standing in my backyard.... a beautiful two stall gray barn behind her. IN MY BACKYARD! The dream is a reality!
Good Morning Cowgirl, Coco and Hank! It is going to be a beautiful day!
